Çeşme:
Çeşme is a costal town located 85 km west of İzmir. Thanks to its 6-lane highway it takes maximum 1 hour drive from Izmir city-center. It is also a very well known holiday spot with its golden sands, thermal waters and a good nightlife. Famous in the Çeşme cuisine is: Sea bass, octopus and mussels. Also well known there are the grapes, melons and of course the mastic.

How to get to Çeşme:

- Çeşme Town & Marina: Very nice Marina where you can find all kind of restaurants and Boutiques around it. Enjoy walking around. Don’t miss going to the Çeşme Castle, the views from up there are great.
- Ilıca: Is a big resort area 5km east of Çeşme. You will find there several restaurants and also a large very nice public beach. Waters are warmer than in other parts of Çeşme and therefore ideal for families with kids.
- Dalyan: There is a very nice small marina there where diving Boats leave from and other tour boats to the small islands close to it. At the marina you will find also lots of Fish restaurants and more.
How to get to Çeşme:
- Private car or Rent a car: From Izmir airport it will take you maximum one hour by car. Don’t forget to have the HGS/OGS card or sticker for the highway toll.
- Havaş Bus: They leave from the Izmir airport every 1:30hours. The journey takes 90 minutes and it costs 27 TL. (July 2018). In Çeşme, the buses leave from the Çeşme Bus Terminal
- Public Buses: There are buses every 20 minutes between the main Otogars in Çeşme and Izmir. It will take you aprox.1:45 and it costs around 15 TL.

Alaçatı is the surfers paradise. The very clear water and the constant wind has made Alaçatı famous for
windsurfing and Kitesurfing. It is also well known for its architecture (stone houses), vineyards, antique shops, galleries and windmills. Worth making a tour in the town and have a coffee or lunch.
Driving from Izmir (70km), it's only 8km before getting to Çesme town.
Go first to see the windmills, then start walking from there. Walking down the streets, mainly all are pedestrian streets, you will find lots of shops, coffee houses, restaurants, boutique hotels and more.
In the summer months its a very popular place to be, so expect it to be very crowded.
Don't miss going through the Catladı Kapı, lots of jewellery shops and more.
If you have a car, go also to the marina. Lots of new restaurants have been opened there
