  • Yeşil Çizgi Kreş: Gaziosmanpaşa Mahallesi, Kader Sk., G.O.P. The teachers only speak Turkish but the director (and child psychologist) speaks English. They have music, English and gymnastic classes every week. A theatre company visits once a month. The food is all cooked freshly on the premises.

The School is based in Gölbaşı, Ankara and is a small school that supports young individuals in need of special education through both group and one to one education.
At Beyaz Koza staff are able to communicate with the families and children in both English and German. Beyaz Koza works children between the ages of 3-12 providing full-time special education between 9.00-16.00 on weekdays, and weekend programmes for young individuals aged 12-18.
The programme at Beyaz Koza is varied and focuses on the development of the child as a whole using PECS, ABA, TEACCH, FLOORTIME, Montessori and SAS listening courses, as well as active learning models and activities such as arts, music, drama and hippotherapy, and animal care (they have a small farm on-site). Cloths:  On Tunali Hilmi Street you have several shops that sell kids cloths, and also in all the Shopping Malls. In most of the malls, you will find a whole floor only dedicated for Kids and Babys. For example in Panora, 1st floor, Cepa Mall on the 2nd floor you will find all for Kids from 0 – 10 years, toys shops, cloths & shoes, etc...
A good quality/price shop for kids cloths: LC WAIKIKI, C&A has also good kids cloths, they are in Ankamall, 365 Mall, Gordion and Kentpark

Where to go with small kids:

  • Kuğulu Park (Swan Park): Small park in the beginning of Tunali Hilmi Caddesi. Ideal for very small children to admire the swans and ducks.
  • Altınpark, İrfan Baştuğ Caddesi, Aydınlıkevler Tel: (0312)317 9670. Going from Ulus towards the airport. Ideal for young children. Botanical gardens, museums, site for cycling, etc. .. 
  • Wonderland Eurasia (Ankapark): Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bulvarı, Atatürk Orman Çiftliği (aoç), Ankapark, Yenimahalle. It is the largest theme park in Turkey built on 1.3 million square meters. Opened in march 2019.
  • METU Science and Technology Museum: Üniversiteler Mh., within the campus of the Middle East Technical University, Tel: (0312) 210 6043. Open weekdays from 09:00-17:00 and weekends, 10:00-18:00. Closed on Mondays. Great to visit with kids.

  • Feza Gursey Bilim Merkezi: Science Museum in Altinpark very interesting for kids because they can play with the machines, pushing buttons, etc..

  • Aquavega (Aquarium and wildlife): at Vega Nata AVM: Doğukent Bulvarı Nata Vega Outlet, Mamak. Tel: 444 8776. Open weekdays from 10:00-20:00, weekends from 11:00-21:00.
  • Altınköy: (‘GoldenVillage’)Beşikkaya Mahallesi 2044. Sokak Altındağ. An open air Museum that is worthwhile visiting with children. Open from 10am to7pm, closed on mondays.

  • Keçiören Evcil Hayvanlar Parkı (Keçiören petting zoo): Keçiören Uyanış Mahallesi, Aşıkpaşa Caddesi. In Keçiören. This Zoo is like small park with goats, sheeps, flamingos, peacocks, ducks, swans and ponies.

  • Inside some Shopping malls (AVM), there are also several Playgrounds for Kids, like inside the Ankamall, called 'Macera adası' and inside the 'One Tower' in oran.
